Fair Use & Usage Policy

Overview

N3 Wellness is a native iOS app. Consumer AI features are available through paid subscriptions billed via Apple In-App Purchase (managed with RevenueCat). This policy explains how included AI usage works, what we consider fair personal use, and what constitutes abuse.

We do not offer “unlimited” AI usage. Each plan includes a monthly included usage allowance designed for typical wellness conversations. Heavier use of advanced features (such as web search, vision, files, or transcription) consumes more of that allowance.

Included AI Usage by Plan

Plan names, prices, and feature lists are shown in the app and on our pricing page. Usage allowances may be updated as we improve the product; the app shows your remaining included usage when available.

N3 AI

  • Chat with N3, explore the Network, and use your plan's included AI usage
  • Advanced features may be limited compared to higher tiers

N3 Plus

  • Everything in N3 AI, plus Plus-tier features (such as web search, image understanding, file attachments, and voice transcription where available)
  • Higher included AI usage than N3 AI

N3 Pro

  • Everything in N3 Plus, with the highest included AI usage and Pro-tier capabilities in the app

Introductory trials for N3 Plus, when offered, are subject to Apple's trial terms. Included usage during a trial may differ from paid periods as shown in the app.

How Metering Works

  • Included usage pool: Your subscription includes a monthly allowance that resets on your billing cycle (aligned with your Apple subscription period after sync with our servers).
  • Feature weighting: Standard chat consumes less included usage than expensive operations (for example web-backed answers, vision analysis, or file processing).
  • In-app visibility: The app may show usage remaining so you can see when you are approaching your allowance.
  • Rate limits: We may apply short-term rate limits to prevent spam, bots, or abuse, independent of your monthly pool.

Why We Have Limits

Included usage and rate limits help us:

  • Keep subscription prices sustainable while using third-party AI and search providers
  • Maintain responsive service for all users
  • Prevent automated abuse, scraping, and resale of access

When Usage Is Exhausted

If you use all included AI usage for your current billing period:

  • Some AI features or sends may pause until your allowance resets or you upgrade through Apple
  • Your chat history and account data remain unless you delete them
  • You can manage or change your plan through Apple subscription settings or in-app links

Cancelling a subscription does not instantly remove data you already stored; see our Privacy Policy for retention and deletion.

What Is NOT Fair Use

The following violate this policy and may result in suspension or termination:

  • Automated bots, scripts, or bulk API-style use of the consumer app
  • Scraping, harvesting, or republishing AI outputs for commercial resale
  • Sharing one account across many people to circumvent usage limits
  • Creating multiple accounts to evade limits or enforcement
  • Attempts to exploit bugs or bypass metering
  • Spam, harassment, or other violations of our Terms of Service

Enforcement

We may monitor usage patterns to detect abuse. Depending on severity, we may warn you, restrict features, suspend, or terminate your account. Accounts terminated for abuse are not entitled to refunds from N3W; App Store refunds remain subject to Apple's policies.
